I recently went to craft festival that is bigger than I ever imagined. Walking from booth to booth I came across the Seeds of Happiness. The creator Mark Borella, told us the story of how it all started with a scrap lump of clay. He put a smiley face on it and would give it to friends who were down and needed a smile in their lives. Little by little those friends, would give them to their friends. More and more were requested. Seeds of Happiness was born!
It is such a great story and it's very significant to me for so many reasons. That is why it will be our Christmas ornament for 2013.
